Claude Masear is a free-lance violinist and violist in the New York Metropolitan area.  A graduate of New York City Public Schools, Claude attended the noted  La Guardia High School of Performing Arts which was portrayed in the motion picture "Fame".  
Claude began his studies with violinist Margaret Pardee at the Julliard Pre-College division.  At Brooklyn College, Claude studied with Masao Kawasaki and was a frequent performer in concert violinist Maestro Perlman Master Classes.  In addition to his performing career, Claude has enjoyed a distinguished career as a music educator.
